Yes, that’s right, today 31st March is World Backup Day.

Why is there a special day dedicated to backing up you ask?

Well, we have Mother’s Day to remind our mothers how wonderful they are (same with Fathers). Then there’s the “King’s Birthday” where I’m not sure what we are really celebrating because it isn’t even his birthday. Then there’s National Donut Day (2nd June 2023 for those dying to know). So why not have a day to remind people of the importance of backing up?

Our lives are entwined with technology. We have contacts, photos, videos, emails, notes, documents, personal data, business data and so much more stored on devices. If there is no backup, you could lose it all.

So check out our previous blogs about how to back up, visit the World Backup Day website and make the pledge.
