We have not had a chance to take Milton and Betsy out lately as we’ve been busy with the house. We aren’t very good nomads yet! But we have things we need to get done before the fun stuff. The first two bedrooms are still coming along, but I needed to get a job completed so I felt like we had achieved something. So what is the smallest room in the house? And the most important? The toilet of course!

I filled and painted the walls and ceiling. I also pulled up the floor. Brett replaced the cistern and laid the vinyl down. I asked him to do that one night thinking it was a quick job….It was not……. Oops. However, we finished a whole room and aren’t planning a divorce, so I’d call that a success. We are pretty happy with the final product. Check out our progress video and details of the renovation below.

  • Wall Colour: Casper White Quarter
  • Ceiling: Ceiling White
  • Floor: 2nd hand vinyl in excellent condition
  • Toilet Roll Holder: Bunnings
  • Toilet Roll House: Already owned
