We’ve been in our “Renovators Delight” house (we really need to give this house a name- make some recommendations in the comments and help us out!) for one month now so we thought we’d do a quick video to show you the progress.

Here is a list of everything we’ve done in the last month (that we can remember) anyway.

  • Bedroom 1
    • Rip up carpet and underlay
    • Remove all the staples and nails from the floor
    • Fill in holes in the floor
    • Remove the cover strips on the masonite
    • Remove built-in cupboard
    • Remove, sand, paint, clean hardware and rehang windows
    • Undercoat door
  • Bedroom 3
    • Rip up carpet and underlay
    • Remove all the staples and nails from the floor
    • Remove most of the built-in cupboard (still need to remove the frame)
    • Remove shelf
    • Undercoat door
  • Utility Room
    • Paint horrible purple walls
    • Fix concrete
    • Lay vinyl planks
    • Move in furniture and decorate
  • Other
    • Stain and fit hardware to the new front door
    • Remove Birds of Paradise (well allow someone who wanted it for free to remove it)
    • Cut down the frangipani tree
    • Chisel out the frame to fit the fridge
