We’ve been in our “Renovators Delight” house (we really need to give this house a name- make some recommendations in the comments and help us out!) for one month now so we thought we’d do a quick video to show you the progress.
Here is a list of everything we’ve done in the last month (that we can remember) anyway.
- Bedroom 1
- Rip up carpet and underlay
- Remove all the staples and nails from the floor
- Fill in holes in the floor
- Remove the cover strips on the masonite
- Remove built-in cupboard
- Remove, sand, paint, clean hardware and rehang windows
- Undercoat door
- Bedroom 3
- Rip up carpet and underlay
- Remove all the staples and nails from the floor
- Remove most of the built-in cupboard (still need to remove the frame)
- Remove shelf
- Undercoat door
- Utility Room
- Paint horrible purple walls
- Fix concrete
- Lay vinyl planks
- Move in furniture and decorate
- Other
- Stain and fit hardware to the new front door
- Remove Birds of Paradise (well allow someone who wanted it for free to remove it)
- Cut down the frangipani tree
- Chisel out the frame to fit the fridge
